AMAL

Amal (Arabic for Hope) is a short documentary for the collaborative design workshop that was conducted at the Sudanese community school in Boulaq al-Dakrour in 2024. The documentary shows the transformation of the rooftop, how it was collaboratively designed, and introduces Amal – the Sudanese principal of the community school “Future Hopes” which is committed to the education of displaced Sudanese students in Giza, Cairo, since 2018.
